Insurance and Coverage Disputes
We are often retained by insurance carriers at the pre-suit stage to provide legal advice with respect to the existence of insurance coverage for a particular claim, and to make recommendations regarding claim handling. Our services include drafting insurance coverage opinions and coverage position letters on behalf of carrier clients.
We have extensive experience representing insurance carriers in coverage disputes, c. 93A and c. 176D claims and related litigation, including declaratory judgment actions in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and in the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
